#Olay28Day Challenge Results + Review

So, 31 has come and gone and here I am trying to make up for lost time with my skin. Behind me are the days of a quick random lotion to the face *insert serums and potions*. When Olay approached me to take the #Olay28Day Challenge I was skeptical to say the least – the only thing I’ve consistently used on my face is rose oil, and as a brown woman I almost never expect anything to really work for me because mainstream beauty is usually reserved for others.

But not this time.

Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream and Ultimate Eye Cream actually worked. I’m shook.

Days 1 to 14 (left to right) were amazing. My skin brightened up a couple of days in and I immediately felt the moisture. Living in an old apartment building in NYC that blasts heat all day and night, moisture is super important for me. The creams even traveled with me to California during the crazy wildfires – the Santa Ana winds wrecked my skin! Luckily they were in my purse (two claps for them being small enough to throw into my carry on). My face, usually soft and supple, became soft and firm would took me from baby face to Kardashian-chic within two weeks. The bags and darkness under and around my eyes were almost nonexistent by this point!

Then week 3 came…I had a major stress breakout on my face, think cystic teenage acne (which I didn’t even have growing up, so ugh this was a major bummer). I had to take a break from the creams for two days because I wasn’t sure what chemicals and ingredients would aggravate my skin. Once the inflammation went down, I got right back to the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream and Ultimate Eye Cream. Not surprisingly, it helped lighten the scars from all of the excavating I’d attempted when the bumps popped up.

Now here we are at the end of the #Olay28Day Challenge and my verdict? This stuff works. My skin’s tight, soft and bright – which is the trifecta beauty dreams are made of. Am I recommending this? Yes. Yes. Yes.

Kelly thank you for your review. I used Olay when I was a teen. Back then they were known as “Oil of Olay” in the pink bottle. Glad to hear that the new products are just as reliable.

  • I might have to try it. I don’t have a much of a skin care regime so I totally will have to check it out.

    • yay! adopting a regimen has changed my skin significantly!
