Made for Movers

I am what many consider a “mover” and a “shaker”. I am always running around town, and I need pieces that both make a statement and are ridiculously comfortable. To go from New Jersey to Long Island City to wherever I’m going after work is no joke.

Applique Jacket: Eloquii | Shoes: Rockport Shoes | Jeans: NYDJ

plus-size-leather-jacket-applique-eloquii-2During NYFW, I like my clothes to speak for me. Yes, I am a minimal dresser these days but no, I haven’t lost the fun, colorful elements of who I am. This applique leather jacket says “this girl means business, but not too much”. I love that this is slightly playful, I kind of feel like a biker badass in it. I kept up the punchy vibe with a bright lip, and played up the badassery with a leather choker and black aviators.

Shopping Tip: This jacket runs true to size. I’m wearing a size 16 in it. And it is soft. as. butter.

rockport-total-motion-kalila-cutout-shoeAnyone that knows me will tell you, I don’t mess around when it comes to shoes. I don’t usually go higher than a 2-inch heel and the insoles must have support. When Rockport Shoes sent me these kalila cutout booties, I knew I had to add them to the rotation. The heel height is just enough to elongate my leg, and the insoles feel like clouds. I’m not quite sure there are many more words I can use to describe how comfortable these are!plus-size-leather-jacket-eloquii-3Check out my post on the Rockport Shoes blog for some trends I spotted during NYFW and all of the places I walked to in these beautiful booties!
